April’s Grove

Ally Community Development assisted OPAL Community Land Trust with securing and managing financing for the April’s Grove project. This project provides 45 units of housing for residents with low and moderate incomes, near the Eastsound business district and within walking distance to schools, community facilities, and other neighborhood serving uses. The project was completed using Low Income Housing Tax Credits, State and local funding, as well as the generosity of private donors in this tight-knit island community.  Ally is now assisting with a second project, providing 20 units of supportive housing for islanders experiencing homelessness, which will be completed in 2027.
