West Seattle Food Bank/DNDA
The West Seattle Community Resource Center, located in Seattle Washington, combines 34 apartments for homeless and low income families with the West Seattle Food Bank, and offices for several other agencies serving low income families. A central courtyard includes gardens with edible landscaping and safe playspace for children. The project was designed to be environmentally sustainable, and was LEED Silver certified. Support services for homeless residents are provided by Wellspring Family Services.
